Drawing inspiration from its 2019 predecessor, which celebrated the Kentucky Derby, this year’s iteration features the same pony hair overlays in black, but with an updated leather base in ‘medium grey’. Black mesh lands on the tongue, which is topped by a grey & black “Nike Air” woven tag, while a metallic silver “Wings” logo lands on the lateral collar. The release is then finished with the AJ1’s classic white and black midsole & outsole pairing, alongside pitch-black laces.
