Saucony joins forces with LA-based label Maybe Tomorrow for their first collaboration of the new year, featuring a two-pronged footwear capsule inspired by Aesop’s fable “The Tortoise and the Hare”.
Titled the “Better Together” collection, Maybe Tomorrow puts their touch on two silhouettes from Saucony’s archive - the Shadow 6000 & the 3D Grid Hurricane. The former, which takes inspiration from the hare, features a grey and white colour palette across its textured upper, from a tumbled leather base to its hairy suede & pony hair overlays. The latter, which references the tortoise, also features a green and orange palette across its upper, from a textile mesh base to its soft suede & pebbled leather overlays. Both sneakers are then completed with co-branded tongue labels, printed artwork at each insole, glow-in-the-dark details, as well as the embroidered text “Maybe” & “Tomorrow” at the spine of the left and right foot respectively.
