As we continue to see a trend towards earth-toned and muted colourways in footwear, Jordan Brand welcomes a duo of neutral tones onto the AJ4 for this weekend's Air Jordan 4 Retro “Taupe Haze” release. Featuring a mix of materials at the upper, cracked textures in taupe make their way onto the mudguard, collar, and tongue, while a slightly darker shade of taupe is found at the silhouettes buttery suede base. Furthermore, the cracked leather panelling previously mentioned is designed to break down with wear, unveiling a lighter shade of taupe underneath. In contrast to the earth-toned upper, solid black accents cover the eyestays, netted underlays, and heel counters, while bright hits of ‘Infrared’ are found at the tongues ‘Jumpman’ branding and lining. The silhouette is then finished with a black & white midsole, taupe ‘Jumpman’ insignia embossed at the heel, as well as flat black laces.
