A legend returns in its original 1988 form for this week’s release of the Air Jordan 3 Retro “Fire Red”. This iteration of the AJ3 features its classic white tumbled leather upper with elephant print overlays in cracked black & ‘iron grey’ at the forefoot and heel. Contrasting ‘fire red’ accents are applied to the perforated collar, molded eyelets, as well as at the midsole, which includes a visible Max Air unit nestled within the heel. Additional hits of ‘cement grey’ are then found at the perforated tongue, sock liner, and rubber outsole. The silhouette is completed with its signature branded elements, including an embroidered “Jumpman” logo at the tongue, alongside a “Nike Air” embossing at the heel which distinguishes this model from its 2007 and 2013 predecessors.
