Celebrating 2021’s Chinese New Year, alongside the Year of the Ox, Jordan Brand delivers the Air Jordan 5 Retro Low CNY for this weekend's drop. This low-top variant of the iconic AJ5 comes dressed in an understated canvas upper in ‘sail’ that wears away to unveil printed underlays adorned with a spectrum of festive hues and graphics in celebration of Chinese New Year. The largely tonal upper is then accented by hits of ’chile red’ and ‘optic yellow’ at the eyestays, sock liner, and midsole shark-teeth. Additional details come in the form of an embroidered ‘Jumpman’ logo at the 3M reflective tongue, while themed patches are stitched onto the backside of the tongue and the heel. The silhouette is then finished with a translucent rubber outsole, cream laces, and a specialty box that carries on the same patterns hidden below the sneakers tear-away upper.
