A greyscale arrangement takes over the latest drop from Ye & adidas for this week's release of the Yeezy 500 “Granite”. Tonal mesh, suede, and leather in the sneaker’s titular shade of grey are found layered throughout the upper, with darker mesh at the base and lighter grey paneling stitched atop from toe to heel. Synthetic panelling at the tongue doubles as both a pull tab and eyestay for the tonal woven laces, while reflective piping below allows the wearer to stand out at night. The sneaker is then finished with an adiPrene-cushioned midsole & rubber outsole, both of which take on the same darker shade of grey as the mesh above.
