Originally released in 2006 as part of a highly-exclusive online drop, the iconic Air Jordan 4 Retro “Lightning” returns this Saturday, August 28th, via online raffle. Drawing inspiration from MJ’s love for motorsports, the silhouette features a tonal nubuck leather upper in ’tour yellow’, while black accents make their way onto the glossy eye stays, as well as at the toe box & mid-foot netting. Additional greyscale accents are found in ‘dark blue grey’ at the eyelet’s “wings”, tongue’s ‘Jordan Flight’ logo patch, as well as at the heel tab’s ‘Jumpman’ logo. The midsole takes on a two-toned ‘dark blue grey’ and white colour scheme, while yellow laces, a visible Air unit, and colour-matched shoe box completes the release.
