Jordan Brand partners with technical fabric innovators GORE-TEX, updating the iconic AJ1 with all-weather materials for this weekend's release of the Air Jordan 1 Elements GORE-TEX in 'Black / Particle Grey' & 'Sail / Light Bone’. Waterproof GORE-TEX fabric takes over the sneaker’s underlays at the midfoot & toebox, while premium waterproof nubuck overlays are found from toe to heel in an array of deep green, black, and soft grey for the ‘Black / Particle Grey' colourway and a mix of light cream, purple hued grey, and black for the 'Sail / Light Bone’ colourway. Additional waterproofing comes in at the GORE-TEX inner lining, giving the wearer full coverage from the elements, while the midfoot Swoosh’s take on a 3M reflective finish. Contrasting branded woven labels are found stitched at the gusseted tongue, while GORE-TEX branding is found stamped at the ankle. The release is then finished with a plush lining inside the collar to lock you in, flat black laces, and a two-tone black & translucent rubber outsole.
