Welcoming a familiar shade of blue back onto the iconic silhouette, Jordan Brand jumps straight into the month of March with this weekend's Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG “University Blue” release. Borrowing the signature shade from Michael Jordan’s collegiate days with the UNC Tar Heels, a light hue of ‘university blue’ makes its way on the uppers mudguard, eyestays, heel, and collar flaps in a soft suede, while white tumbled leather is found at the uppers base. Black tumbled leather provides contrast against the soft toned upper, with hits at the midfoot Swoosh and collar, as well as with the ‘Wings’ logo debossed in black at the collar flaps. The silhouette is then finished with the classic white midsole, a bright blue outsole, and two sets of laces in black and blue.
