First debuting on the feet of Michael Jordan at the 1996 NBA All-Star Game, the iconic AJ11 “Columbia” returns in its low-cut form for May with this Friday’s Air Jordan 11 Retro Low “Legend Blue” release. The silhouette features a mix of supple leather and glossy patent leather at the low-top’s stark-white upper, while the ballistic mesh commonly found on the higher-cut AJ11 makes its way onto the tongue in white as well. The tonal upper is then accented by hits of ‘legend blue’ at the tongue’s branded ribbon and at the rear’s embroidered ‘Jumpman’ logo. MJ’s number ’23’ makes its way onto the heel tab, while the numbers ’25’ are found printed at the insole to mark the silhouettes 25th anniversary. This release is then finished with the classic translucent icy outsole, carbon plate at the footbed, as well as white rope-style laces.
