Putting a recycled twist on the popular AJ1, the women’s exclusive Air Jordan 1 Mid “Barely Volt” drops this Friday, January 15th. The silhouette arrives in a colour scheme similar to last years AJ1 “Zen Green” release, featuring a recycled base in ‘barely volt’ made from Nike’s Grind material, which repurposes manufacturing scraps and end-of-life sneakers into new materials, while textured black vinyl overlays make their way onto the mudguard, eyestays, and ankle region. In contrast to the mint and black upper, ‘chile red’ accents are found at the nylon tongues woven ‘Jumpman’ label, as well as at the ankles debossed ‘Wings’ logo. The silhouette is then finished with it’s classic white midsole, ‘barely volt’ outsole, and black laces.
