First released in the Summer of 1986, the Air Jordan 1 KO “Chicago” returns 35 years later, dropping this week in a colour scheme strikingly similar to the original AJ1. Ditching the all-leather upper of the aforementioned OG release, the AJ1 KO features a thick canvas base, with soft leather overlays at the Swoosh and collar, all of which comes dressed in shades of white, gym red, and black synonymous with the iconic “Chicago” colourway. Signature “AJKO” branding takes over at the collar's printed ‘Wings’ logo, while the classic woven ‘Nike’ tag returns at the nylon tongue. The silhouette is then finished with a midsole and outsole pairing borrowed from the Nike Vandal, done up in white & red respectively, alongside three sets of laces in black, red, and white.
