First hitting the shelves in 1997 while MJ pursued his sixth NBA Championship, the cult favourite AJ13 returns to the shop this weekend with the release of the Air Jordan 13 Retro “Obsidian”. Arriving in heritage colours inspired by the Charlotte Hornets, the silhouette features a white tumbled leather upper with stitched, dimpled overlays, while darker tones of ‘obsidian’ blue wrap around the upper’s underlays in a mix of leather & suede. OG branded details make their return at the tongue & ankle, with an embroidered ‘Jumpman’ logo in ‘dark powder blue’, tonal woven ‘Jordan’ label, and holographic ’23’ jewel respectively. The release is then finished with Zoom Air cushioning, a white & ‘dark powder blue’ midsole and outsole pairing, alongside rope-style laces in ‘obsidian’.
