For our first drop of the year, we’re stoked to introduce new logowear, featuring a puffed out flip of a classic ‘90s hip-hop logo!
Our Breakdown Logo references the legendary ‘90s hip-hop trio Fu-Schnickens, out of East Flatbush, Brooklyn. Known for their cartoonish lyrics and consistent allusions to pop culture, Fu-Schnickens saw early success with their 1991 debut single, “Ring the Alarm”, going on to release two albums, and even featured then-NBA rookie Shaquille O'Neal to their best known track “What’s Up Doc?”. Most notably, Fu-Schnickens popularized the sampling of martial arts films, bringing these references to the forefront of hip-hop production, with the likes of the Wu-Tang Clan, among many others, following suit over the years.
Printed on heavyweight and garment dyed fabric, all made in the USA, our Breakdown Logo Tee and Hoodie arrives in vintage black & sage green respectively, featuring a puff-print graphic at centre-front chest.
