First released over 30 years ago as part of the “Be True To Your School” pack, where it represented the University of Iowa Hawkeyes, Nike welcomes the return of the Dunk High SP “Varsity Maize” for this holiday season's re-release. Sharing similarity to the legendary “Wu-Tang” Dunk’s, the silhouette features a striking combination of black and yellow at the premium leather upper, with the base done up in black and ‘varsity maize’ at the panelled overlays. Classic branding is found at the black nylon tongue with a woven “Nike” tag, while small yellow heel tabs are found at the rear. The silhouette is then finished with the Dunk’s classic white midsole, a yellow outsole, as well as three sets of laces in yellow, black, and white.
The Nike Dunk High SP “Varsity Maize” releases through an Instagram-based raffle that starts today, December 8th, that ends Wednesday December 9th, at 3:00 PM MST. Check out Instagram (@fooshyeg) for more details.
