Reviving the AYA from their ’90’s archive, Saucony comes together with Canada’s own Raised by Wolves for a collaborative take on the 1994 runner. Dubbed “Asphalt Jungle”, the AYA features a tonal upper of concrete-esque hues, mixing mesh with suede and leather overlays. The monochrome colour-scheme is then offset by vivid pops of orange at the leather sockliner and red at the tongue, which includes a zippered stash pocket reminiscent of footwear popularized by Chad Muska and skate shoes of the late ’90’s. The silhouette is then finished with reflective detailing at the heel, toggled lacing, a paint-speckled midsole, as well as pops of rich purple and soft green at the outsole.
