A follow up to the similarly hued 2018 release (dubbed “Purple Toe), as well as sharing a strong resemblance to the Dunk High “City Attack” from 1999, Jordan Brand returns for the month of April with the release of the Air Jordan 1 High OG “Court Purple” . Maintaining the same royal purple hues as the 2018 release, the 2020 iteration swaps out a coloured toe box for classic colour-blocking running across its premium leather upper. As such, the white leather base sees purple leather overlays placed from toe to heel, while stark black accents find their way onto the midfoot Swoosh’s, ankle collar, and laces. Additional branded elements are found at the ankle, with a Jordan Brand “Wings” logo in black, as well as a two-tone “Nike Air” tag in leather at the tongue. The silhouette is then finished with its classic white midsole and a rich purple rubber outsole.
The Air Jordan 1 Retro OG “Court Purple” releases this Saturday, April 11th, through an Instagram-based raffle tomorrow, April 8th, that ends Thursday, April 9th, at 12:00 PM MST. Check out Instagram (@fooshyeg) for more details.
