Paying homage to MJ’s alma mater with a collegiate-inspired colourway, the Air Jordan 5 Retro SE “University Blue” drops this Saturday, March 4th! Dressed in the school colours of the University of North Carolina, this iteration of the AJ5 features a soft nubuck leather upper in ‘university blue’, with the iconic shade continuing onto the updated jersey mesh sock lining. Accents come in the form of a silver, 3M reflective tongue and speckled shark-tooth details at the pitch-black midsole, while translucent TPU netting is placed at the tongue & midfoot. The silhouette is then finished with a clear blue lace lock, visible Air unit at the heel for cushioning, alongside icy blue rubber underfoot for traction.
