Saucony x Saucony, a sub-label from the iconic running brand, defines their highest iteration of design with limited-edition releases in uniquely inspired colourways. This year, the premium range looks to destinations from around the globe for inspiration, kicking off the collection with the Shadow 5000 and a colourway inspired by the beaches of the Caribbean island of Saint Barthélemy. Soft perforated nubuck leather takes over the upper in beige, with dark brown suede overlays at the midfoot and heel, as well as a green tumbled leather panel that wraps around the rear quarter panel. The same shade of green is placed at the midfoot’s S-logo overlay, which takes on a translucent finish, while a darker shade of green is found at the heels embroidered branding and stitched windows. Additional references to St. Barth include the tongue’s label, which feature graphics from the island’s flag, as well as an exclusive shoebox, while the release is finished with a translucent green outsole and two sets of laces in white and beige.
