A timeless silhouette and new materials are brought together for this week’s release of the Air Jordan 4 Retro SE “Craft”. For this crafted rendition of Tinker Hatfield’s 1989 design, the AJ4 takes on a premium suede and leather construction in varying shades of grey, from ‘photon dust’, to ‘grey fog’ & ‘flat pewter’. The plastic netted overlays typically found at the tongue & midfoot have been replaced with a grid-embossed suede, while extra stitching & a suede patch at the collar all come together to give this release an artisan feel. The silhouette is then finished with opaque TPU pieces at the eyestays and rear heel tab, alongside a vintage-toned ‘sail’ midsole.
