First hitting the shelves in February of 1989, followed by two retro rereleases in 2006 and 2012, Jordan Brand returns this weekend with the Air Jordan 4 Retro “Fire Red” in its full and original form. Serving up OG colour-blocking, the silhouette features a premium leather base in white contrasted by hits of ‘fire red’ at the eye stay molds, midsole, and inner lining, alongside black detailing at the midsole, eye stay wings ,and rear pull tab. Further OG details can be found at the tongue’s woven 'Jumpman' tag, and more notably, at the rear pull tab with the classic embossed ‘Nike Air’ badge. Grey details at the outsole and white laces round off the release, while a large orange ‘Nike Air’ hangtag becomes the final throwback to the original release.
