Taking inspiration from the Tinker Hatfield-designed AJ3 and his iconic elephant print, which made its debut 35 years ago, the pattern returns for this week’s release of the Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG “White Cement”. Dressed in a familiar colourway, this release features a white tumbled leather upper with elephant print nubuck overlays placed from toe to heel. The collar, “Wings” logos, and laces are all done up in pitch-black, while a woven “Nike Air” label is found stitched at the nylon tongue. The sneaker is then rounded off with an aged ‘muslin’ and ‘tech grey’ midsole & outsole pairing, spare laces in white, as well as a special, all-over elephant print shoe box.
